This coffee is grown on the hillsides of Mount Kilimanjaro – also known as the rooftop of Africa. Kilimanjaro Estate is blessed with high mountain climate and volcanic soil. Optimal growth conditions for a sublime coffee.

THE TASTE

A very well balanced coffee with a medium body and low acidity. Soft aftertaste with hints of sweet hazelnut and chocolate flavour.

Yellow Bourbon Peaberry bean. A round bean with only one bean in the coffee berry. An unique and small bean with a lot of flavour. 100% Arabica.

The name of the farm is Pantano Estate. It is based between 800 to 1300 meters above sea level, in the region Cerrado Mineiro. The wet summers and dry winters are unique for this area in Brazil and provide ideal conditions for a great bean and an even greater cup of coffee.

Paysandu estate is owned by Guillerno Gaviria and his daughters. The farm is based in the Antioquia region, on the slopes of the Cordillera Mountain chain in Columbia. In the deep valley below the farm, the river Cauca cuts through the landscape and provides the unique climate, that makes it possible to grow coffee, at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level.

THE BREWING

ESPRESSO ___ 40-45 ml. a concentrated shot of coffee.
ESPRESSO RISTRETTO ___ shot of an even more intense coffee with only 30 ml. water. (Ristretto = italian for "Hold Back")
ESPRESSO DOUBLE ___ as the name implies - this is a double shot of espresso 80 - 100 ml.
ESPRESSO MACCHIATO ___ espresso shot with a small drop of steamed milk. (Machiato = italien for "Spot")
CORTADO ___ espresso shot with steamed milk. Ratio 1:1
CAPPUCCINO ___ espresso shot with steamed milk served in a round cup.
AMERICANO ___ espresso shot served with hot water.
CAFFE LATTE ___ espresso served in a big cup with warm milk - we do not recommend it!
ESPRESSO ON ICE ___ espresso served in a glass with crushed ice - excellent as a drink in the summertime.
ESPRESSO ROMANO ___ espresso served with a slice of lemon on the side. Squeeze the lemon to add bite and flavor.
ESPRESSO CORRETTO ___ add alcohol to your espresso - rum, tequila, Italian Grappa - but only on Fridays!
